General Concept Regarding Herbal Medicine
Welcome to our practice & thanks for choosing us for your health concerns. I want to use this opportunity to explain to you our concept for attaining your optimum well being. We use all available avenues to attain this goal in acupuncture and oriental medicine. These both support each other to accomplish this goal.

The herbs (Traditional Chinese Herbal Supplement) in our practice are the freshest & purest, finest & exactly mixed T.C.H.S. according to Chinese Pharmacopia designed for our specific needs to attain the maximum results for your health. Out herbs (T.C.H.S.) are manufactured right here in Irvine, Ca (Sun Ten Co.) meeting the strict standards of Western Pharmaceutical standards. The process needs to attain the exacting standards are by decoction & extraction, and measure the content of the herb (T.C.H.S.). It is of utmost importance to follow the Acupuncturist & doctors’ directions to take the herb (T.C.H.S.) at the specific time for optimum results.
When taking the herbal (T.C.H.S.) medicines these are the guidelines to follow:
| 1. | Take herb (T.C.H.S.) with 4 oz (1/2 glass) with warm water, not cold water. |
| 2. | Drink at least 8 glasses of pure water, 8 oz per glass daily. |
| 3. | Herbs (T.C.H.S.) are to be taken 1 hour before or after any other supplements, vitamins or prescriptions. |
| 4. | Most herb (T.C.H.S.) are taken after meals, but some on an empty stomach. Please read the label carefully. |
